Summary: Luna was taken from her home as a sacrifice for her village, but eventually taken in by a witch, Xan. Xan fed Luna Moonbeams which empowered her with powerful magic. While Luna was growing up with Xan, her was locked in a prison wanting to
find her daughter.
Review: This is a great book for fourth and fifth graders. There is adventure, magic, and a little bit of evilness. The plot is something I have not read before.
