Greetings McNair Family, Â
I am excited to be back for another school year. I am the Library Media Assistant. Currently, I work between two schools, here at Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy and Barack H. Obama Elementary Magnet School of Technology.  You won't find me here on Wednesday and Thursdays or every other Friday. But on the days I am here you will find me ready to go with a book in my hand. A few of my favorite books are Crazy Hair by Neil Gaiman; The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein; Oh, the thinks you can think by Dr. Seuss.  I have many more books that are my favorites but I can't list them all.  My goal is to get students to enjoy reading just as much as I do because in the words of Dr. Seuss,  "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
